Abstract

With this contribution to the interpretation of the work of Ludwig Wittgenstein I intend to correct the approach with which his work has been interpreted, from the self-understanding of Western philosophy as the work of the concept to appropriate reality, to turn the focus and center us on the epistemological approaches of the celebrated author in this centenary of the publication of his first book, the Logisch philosophische Abhandlung, known for the Latin translation, as the Tractatus lógicophilosophicus of 1920, which changed the course of philosophy in the twentieth century. Because his approach proposes another way of doing philosophy, radically different, which is inserted in the practice of everyday language —the only one we have and the only one that is not posture to assume— and from there he tries to elucidate how experience is organized, with a practical logic as I dare to maintain, it unfolds in the same immanent logic of social life and language. Leaving behind as erroneous the objective and distant perspective of the sciences that objectifies speech, distorts its character of practice and that as a theory cannot materially produce human speech, it is sterile, while societies and everyday language do achieve it in their own way. And this procedure, in my opinion, has implications for the other sciences, which would force us to rethink both the social sciences, biology, ecology and physics. And this approach then allows us to take enough distance to recognize the limits and scope of the Western cultural bet, which is not the universal science it pretends to be, because pretending that is ideology.
