In this article I introduce the reader to intercultural reflection on education in different cultures and social formations using as an example the results of the research carried out with the bilingual specialists, the mayor and the director of the UGEL of Datem del Marañón, with the help of the Director of Community Education, Mr. Jacobo Alva, in the years 2010 -2012. The design of this educational program is done respecting the autonomy of the people over their affairs that national and international legislation grants to indigenous peoples and demonstrates that they have significant contributions to make to education and that much could be learned from their pedagogical cultures.
